Often, when facing life transitions - a.k.a. change in our life,- we resort to psychological escape mechanisms as a way to cope with the fear and uncertainty change brings.

😅 I do the same, don't feel bad. Even after learning all about how it is done.

🙊 The most common mechanism is #denial. By downplaying the need for change or its potential benefits, we maintain a sense of comfort and avoid the discomfort that comes with uncertainty and new challenges.

#PersonalStory - I have been juggling projects that felt very important, even as part of myself, and have not seen how having too many projects stops me from blooming.

Acknowledging this can be the first step in embracing change and moving forward.

Look inside or just listen to yourself when you think about change.
